FAQS

WHAT IS LIVE PAINTING?

Live painting is art that is created in a public area, in real time. Artists can take anywhere from 10 minutes, to multiple hours to create these works of art. While it is a process, it is also an event in itself for your guests to observe over time how art is made.

WHY IS LIVE PAINTING SO EXPENSIVE?

Live painting is both a piece of art, as well as entertainment. While artists can produce art in a studio, live painters put on a show for your guests, entertain questions, and put themselves out of their comfort zones to make dreams come true. Art can be expensive, but the investment in something that is special to you will always pay off.

WHAT TECHNIQUES DO YOU USE IN LIVE PAINTING?

While every artist has their own unique style and art medium (paint). Spencer uses acrylic paint to build up the canvas from the base coat, to the finishing details.

WHY DOES IT LOOK LIKE THAT?

Live painting is a process. Building up layers and layers of color to get the right tones and textures. This is where "trust in the process" really becomes important. Just know that Spencer is creating something important and special to you, and will not stop until she creates something special.
